Prairie Bottom Farm is offering internship positions for the 2015 growing season which lasts from early April to the end of October. We are looking for either one intern or one couple. If you are interested you should be an enthusiastic individual(s) who is looking to work in a small community on a farm that provides high quality produce to loyal CSA members and to the community through farmers markets. You should be honest, hard working, and good at working with members of the public.
The internship position consists of both education and work opportunities. Interns are expected to work a 40 hour week and to attend educational opportunities organized by the farm. We provide registration costs for the Ebey's Forever conference and the Northwest Tilth Conference.
As an intern you will be provided with offsite housing in a furnished apartment, as well as access to produce and items generated by the farm. You will receive a modest stipend that will increase as the season progresses.
